Returns & Refunds Policy — HNK


30-Day Return Window

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. After 30 days, no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted under any circumstances.

To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused, unmodified, and in the same condition as received
  • In original, undamaged packaging with all original tags and inserts intact
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Items that do not meet all of the above conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their expense.


How to Initiate a Return

All returns must be pre-approved before any item is sent back. To request a return, contact us at hello@gethnk.com with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship items back without receiving written approval from us first. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted, will not be refunded, and will be disposed of or returned to the sender at our discretion.


Return Shipping Costs

Due to the size and weight of the HNK™ MotorFloat, return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer in all cases, including defective or damaged items. We do not provide prepaid return labels under any circumstances. We recommend using a tracked shipping method for all returns, as we are not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged in transit. Returns will not be processed until the item is received and inspected at our facility.


Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, calculated on the original item price excluding shipping. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount at the time of processing. The restocking fee applies to all returns including those made under the EU 14-day cooling off period, except where prohibited by applicable law.


Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must contact us at hello@gethnk.com within 7 days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period will not be eligible for remedy. To process your claim, we require photographic or video evidence of the defect or damage submitted at the time of contact. Upon verification, we will offer either a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement at our discretion. Due to the size and weight of the HNK™ MotorFloat, return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer in all cases, including verified defects. No other remedy beyond refund or replacement will be offered.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Items returned after the 30-day return window
  • Items that have been used, modified, or are not in original condition
  • Items returned without original packaging, tags, or proof of purchase
  • Sale items and items purchased with a discount code
  • Gift cards
  • Pre-order items (see Pre-Order section below)

Pre-Order Items

All pre-order purchases are final and non-refundable. By placing a pre-order, the customer acknowledges the estimated 6–8 week fulfillment window and accepts that the purchase cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed, except where required by applicable law. If a pre-order item cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be offered a full refund or store credit.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, you must return the original item in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately. The 25% restocking fee applies to the returned item. We cannot reserve stock pending a return.


Refund Processing

Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome within 5 business days. If the return is approved, the refund — minus the applicable restocking fee — will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider and are outside our control. If 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, contact us at hello@gethnk.com.


European Union — 14-Day Cooling Off Period

Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days of receipt for any reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing at hello@gethnk.com within the 14-day window. Items must be returned in original, unused condition with all packaging and proof of purchase. The 25% restocking fee applies except where prohibited by applicable EU law. Due to the size and weight of the HNK™ MotorFloat, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.


Fraudulent or Abusive Return Activity

We reserve the right to refuse returns, cancel refunds, and suspend or permanently ban accounts where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, abuse of our returns process, or repeated return patterns inconsistent with normal purchasing behaviour. This includes but is not limited to false damage claims, returns of items not purchased from us, and deliberate misrepresentation of item condition.


Policy Scope

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all products sold through our store, including all current and future SKUs. By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to the terms set out in this policy.
